The turbulent wrestling career of A.J. Ferrari at Oklahoma State has come to an end.

Ferrari, whose full name is Albert James Ferrari Jr., was declared a suspect in a sexual assault investigation by the Stillwater.

The Stillwater Police Department responded at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, to a report of a sexual assault investigation.

After the investigation is finished, the case will be sent to the Payne County District Attorney's Office for review of whether to file charges.

According to a story from The O'Colly, Ferrari was the subject of a protection order that was submitted on July 5.

Ferrari was slated to start his junior year at Oklahoma State. Ferrari, who is from Allen, Texas, won the individual title in 2021 as a true freshman and was ranked first.

Anthony, his younger brother, committed to Oklahoma State as a member of the 2022 class and is slated to begin playing for the Cowboys in the fall.

Albert James Ferrari Jr. has been named as the case's suspect.
